Daily Schedule
October 7-14, 2017
Your week at a Glance
After spending the night near the airport, we will eat a filling breakfast and then hit the road to Otavalo. We will drive through the strikingly green Andes Mountains, passing old adobe houses and farmers who still plow the fields with Oxen. Along the way, we will stop at the equator monument where you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere. We will then take a bus trip up the to the mountain to an Indian Archeological Site where you will see sheep grazing, amazing views and eat a typical Indigenous meal out of a banana leaf.
The Hacienda is a magical place. Between the gardens, the decor and all the nooks and crannies to explore, the jacuzzi, swimming pool, and spa, you will never be bored. Sitting around at night chatting and laughing with fellow attendees is the best.
During the week, we will visit Lake Cuicocha, Peguche Waterfalls, and the Otavalo Market. We will see the Indigenous culture as interpreted through a Folkloric Dance. And you will have a free afternoon to explore the area on your own.
All of this fun will be interspersed with a presentation by each blogger, discussion groups, and a one-on-one session with one blogger. You will spend a week with your "tribe"---people who have the same goals as you do---happiness and financial freedom.
*Note: Saturdays are arrival and departure days. No activities are
scheduled for those days. You will be provided with Dinner or a snack Saturday evening
on arrival and Breakfast and Lunch the day of departure if
your flight schedule allows time.
